About CCCSAA 
The purpose of the California Community College Student Affairs Association shall be to: promote and advance public two-year post-secondary education and to bring the members together in an association for mutual benefit; to stimulate effective working relationships in the field; to strengthen professional status by establishing criteria for professional training; to undertake research and study pertinent to the profession and other methods for exchange of ideas and information, whereby all persons engaged as Student Affairs professionals in California Community Colleges may be aided in the growth and success of student programs and services within their respective colleges. 

Program Description
This program training is designed to increase the competencies of individuals serving or desiring to serve in roles of social justices change agents, educators, and practitioners. It is structured to engage participants at all level of social and cultural awareness, and competencies. The session offers theoretical framework and interactive engagement to promote learning. This development lab is designed to equip participants to lead other dialogue/sessions within the agency. The session is customized to meet the needs of the members attending the California Community College Student Affairs Association Professional Development Conference. 

Conference Details
This three-day Advisor Program focuses on building individual member leadership and technical skills and professional collaborative connections. The conference will start at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 and will conclude by 3 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024. Participants are required to attend the entire training program if they wish to in order to receive the certificate of completion from CCCSAA. Lunch on Thursday is included in the conference registration costs. In-room and lobby WiFi is complimentary and may not be available in meeting spaces.

Target Audience
This conference is intended for only individuals working in the Student Affairs profession or for graduate students in the field of Higher Education and Student Affairs.

Conference Registration Deadline and Fees
Registration for CCCSAA members is open through the start of the conference. It is important that you do not delay to reserve your space. Both registration and payment are needed to confirm your registration and price. Download the CCCSAA W-9 form

Deadline for Early Registration is Friday, March 29, 2024
Members*: $400
Non-Members: $500

Deadline for Regular Registration is on Friday, May 3, 2024
Members**: $450
Non-Members: $500

Late Registration after Friday, May 3, 2024, will be payable at the time of registration
Members: $550
Non-Members: $550 

*Full payment must be received on or before Friday, March 29, 2024, to be eligible for Early Registration pricing
**Full payment must be received on or before Friday, May 3, 2024, to be eligible for Regular Registration pricing. 

Conference Cancellation by CCCSAA
The CCCSAA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CCCSAA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. If CCCSAA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is within three days of payment minus a $50 service fee. Cancellations received after three days of payment will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refund checks will be mailed back to the address provided at the time of cancellation.

There will be NO daily resort fee. The Resort Fee includes: high speed Wi-Fi, in room bottled water and coffee, local phone calls, use of the business center, and access to the pool, hot tub and fitness center. Overnight valet parking: $60.00
